Meet: @_findinghealthy_ I began losing weight as a woman who felt trapped in her body. I couldn’t walk up stairs, play sports, or fit comfortably in airplane seats. My main priority for weight loss was getting my life back! How I lost the weight: I started tracking my food, specifically my macros, and ate a particular amount of carbs, proteins and fats! I started following a workout routine and lifting weights and doing HIIT cardio 4-5 times a week! Once it all began it was easy to stay motivated mainly through taking before and “now” photos. I avoided weighing myself too frequently or restricting myself too much! For me, it was a slow process by choice because I wanted to be mindful and healthy throughout! I hope to use my Instagram account to inspire people around the world to practice mindful healthy routines to improve their mind, body and spirit. I focus on healthy eating, self care, and education! Starting tip: My greatest advice is tracking your macronutrients! It made weight loss so much easier because balance was so attainable! With that, daily movement is so important for your mental and physical health! Whether it’s yoga, running, or lifting weights!
