Okay I know I normally talk a lot of shit about Batstans here… and that isn’t gonna change today.

SOME of you Jason Todd stans need to understand that he does not win every fight. No he would not win a fight against several Green Lanterns at once. No, he does not over power Superman.

I have always liked Mortal Kombat more than DC (but considering there’s like 5 MK fans on here total, I mainly talk DC) so I get that I may be biased in this but

Seeing things like “Jason Todd wins against Scorpion” or “Red Hood wins against Shang Tsung” physically hurts me because no. No, he wouldn’t. Especially given how easy MK kharacters will resolve things in much gorier and disgusting violence than will realistically be shown in his comics.

Also I’ve seen that “Jason vs Vergil would be a close fight, even with the possibility of Jason winning’. NOPE. Loud and wrong. I am a chubby teenage girl who likes gaming and chocolate more than life, and I have a closer chance at beating Red Hood with my bare hands than je has a chance to beat Vergil.

Ranking each area of the DC fandom by how toxic the toxic fans are. (That I’ve personally seen, least to most toxic)

And before people attack me for ‘counting these people as fans’, I’m not. If you’re toxic about a character, you’re not truly a fan of that character. This is just a little fun, and I’m talking from my own personal experiences.

8) Martian Manhunter

To be fair, I’ve met so little of the actual fans themselves that I’ve never met a single toxic fan of MM. I’m not saying they don’t exist, but from those who I’ve met, y’all are pretty chill.

7) Flash (+family)

Most of the flash-fam fans are pretty chill, with only a few ‘toxic’ people, mainly about Wally West and around power-scaling, or to do with the CWC Flash show.

6) Green Lantern

As a Green Lantern fan myself, I may be a little biased on this one, but I truly haven’t met many who have actually been toxic towards others, and when it is it’s usually directed towards defending their favourite characters. Which, whilst somewhat justified, is still toxic.

5) Aquaman

Again, not met many of you guys, those I have met are either comic fans who are chill, or ‘Alpha Male Bros’ who like the Snyderverse too much.

4) Green Arrow (+family)

Okay, working with a bigger fandom again, y’all are mainly great people, but you have a few fans who just bring you down. Probably also most likely to do either the CWC show or “Jason Todd fans” (heavy quotations) who pretend to like Roy because they need Jason to have a partner.

3) Wonder Woman (+family)

Most of y’all are fine, just once again the power-scalers, and those who for some reason like the Injustice version of her. Not much else to say.

2) Superman (+family)

On the terms of Superman fans as a whole, the toxicity is genuinely so low, it’s almost nonexistent. That being said, those who are toxic are toxic. It’s mainly those ‘Alpha male superman should be like the Snyder version blah blah blah/I love the Injustice version wayyy too much’, but because of these people, it really brings the fandom down.

1) …Batfam

Please don’t kill me, but you know why I put them here. This isn’t me dogging on Batfam fans, since once again, most of you are fine, but I have sooooo many experiences with different people, I have a file in my head for bad experiences per member.

How it feels to see what you love shit on just because it’s old <<<<<

Genuinely I love the old She-Ra (and He-Man) so much, but a lot of people really hate it for some reason. Is it a little outdated? Yeah. But it’s still got a charm to it I can’t find in any other shows I watch.

Is it because it’s not got gay characters in it? Like, I get wanting representation, I’m pan and genderfluid, but I understand it was the 80’s. They couldn’t do anything like that openly. Literally being told to kms because I like the 1985 version is genuinely wild.

Plus, why hate on it so much when, if we didn’t have it, you’d never have the version you love so much?

Everyday I wake up and have to remind myself not to gatekeep but then I hear the sound of *THOSE* Batfans who are so loud and yet so so wrong

My summary of what the Justice League is portrayed as in SOME fanon fics:

Batman: the leader, big scary man who everybody else fears, a dad to the League and constantly babies them, very condescending, smartest guy on the team, knows everything about everyone, stalker, doesn’t let anybody go near him or Gotham, somehow both the best dad and the worst dad at the same time but it’s okay because ‘HeS BAtmAn’

Wonder Woman: competent but still really dumb compared to Batman, acts like a savage unless Batman or Superman are there to teach her how to do things civilised, acts like a mother to everybody, acts exactly how a ‘pick me girl feminist’ would act (idk if that’s a term but that’s the best I can describe it, hope you get the picture).

Superman: worst father to his sons, acts like an incapable little sweetheart baby because apparently he’s not a competent adult who has actually grown up on earth his entire life as does in fact know things, never kills unless Batman’s in trouble, has a crush on Batman and tries to hide it but fails

Green Lantern(Hal Jordan): Dumbass, Batmans sex toy, tagged as a Batlantern ship but it fucking isn’t as it’s only just so Superbat can happen, can’t do anything right, is always an arrogant cocky bitch who gets put a peg or two down when Batman ‘puts him in his place’ and is always somehow terrified of Batman. You know. The ‘Man who has No fear’ is afraid of a dude dressed as a bat.

Flash: also a dumbass, baby of the team, can’t do anything for himself, an entire part of him (being a forensic detective) gets forgotten since apparently Batman is the only detective there ever is in the JL, normally has a crush on Hal but the writers never take that anywhere.

Martian ManHunter: only mentioned in passing and it’s usually along the lines of ‘J'onn rolls his eyes as he reads their minds because all of them are idiots’

Aquaman: Aquaman? One of the main members of the Justice League? In a Justice League fic? Pfft, as if dude.

Any of the other members: Non existent. Never even born.

The JL as a whole: all really scared of Batman, terrified to step in Gotham because of what he might do to them, scared to even talk to the man. Somehow none of them know he has kids either, even though a good half of them helped to RAISE THEM?!?

Seeing a ‘now this is a canon accurate _______!’ comment under a very not canon accurate depiction of the character is making me feel something. And it ain’t good.
