This is not a broken tornado sirin. This is a full on tornado warning sirin. The pattern is called an alternating wail. It has begun to be utilized for Two reaons. One, the normal key up sirin holds a note, and backs off slowly. If you are headphoned or doing loud work it can be hard to hear. Two, hollywood has desensitised us to the origanal sirin. It is offputting and loud, but does not create the sense of urgency needed durring an emergency.

the alternating wail was designed with a spin up and spin down, and half octive jumps timed diffrently then the patern of the primary wail. It is just off enough that it instantly makes you feel unease and danger.

Which is what its designed to warn about!

I wanna take a moment to reblog this one last time while it’s still 2019. All year, i’ve gotten over a hundred reblogs DAILY on THIS POST ONLY. My parents are denying me food still and I'm starving

I'm remaking this post because the other one has so many notes that people dont think I still need help but I do!!!

tldr my parents are extremely controlling, this is one of their attempts. it's been like this for awhile. i recently got out of the hospital for a suicide attempt. my parents place a lock on the fridge and dont allow me to eat "their" food. my other post didn't get any traction so i just made this one I'm really sorry but im so hungry all day esp because of the meds im on and im sneaking bread into my bedroom ive lost over 10 lbs.

I'm also dealing with a dental issue which my parents wont pay for and has been causing a lot of pain and overall I'm just doing really shitty. Im sorry to my followers. I've been struggling for a long time and trying to get on disability.
