Hi there! My name is Osiris/Iris and I recently joined tumblr offically LMAO! I share things about my video game characters, mainly from Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Fallout, among other games!
To introduce myself more, hi I'm Osiris otherwise known as Iris! I'm in my 20s and use she/her pronouns. I've been gaming since I was 7 years old, starting with Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction on the PS3. My favourite games of all time are the Ratchet and Clank franchise, Red Dead Redemption 2 and the Mass Effect trilogy!
I love creating original characters especially from video games, and I love adding to their little worlds and lives that I build for them ♡
My posts are mostly, if not all, about my original characters from video games! I hope you love them as much as I do ♡
Below are each of my characters that I've posted about so far! Hopefully there will be more to come!
This entire format/layout was inspired by @n7valkyrien
I wanna post more about her eventually but a lot has changed about her lore and look wise in her story, but yes! Officaly started on my second playthrough now on my new PC so she looks *chefs kiss*
I cannot express how much this game has truly changed and impacted my life. I played it during a dark time, and it literally changed how I saw the world and who I wanted to be as a person.
Commander Shepard has become my role model in life and who I aspire to be. Her determination, grit, love for her crew and people, strength and bravery have inspired me and I look up to her in a way I haven't anyone before.
The entire cast and crew of Mass Effect impacted me so immensely. I've had games change my life, but none like Mass Effect...
So thank you Mass Effect, for changing everything about who I am and who I want to be. I got a tattoo at the beginning of this year that'd I'd been wanting to get for a while. Its an N7 tattoo, on my right side, the same place it is on Shepard's armour. Its a reminder to myself of the woman, and the game, that changed my life and a thank you to them.
Thank you Mass Effect, for everything you've done for me ❤️
I truly believe that Leandra Hawke would have commissioned portraits of her children to be hung in the Estate!
So! Using this picrew

I have made portraits of the siblings!✨️
The eldest Daughter Marina Hawke
Here, Hawke has long flowing hair, she has curly long hair in Act 3, but when they lived in Ferelden she always chopped all her hair off to be able to work more efficiently on the farm. Leandra, in Act 2, commissioned the artist to draw Hawke with long hair instead of the shoulder length hair Hawke has in Act 2.
And then there is Carver Hawke.
I tried my best to give each sibling their own features from the game, but I wanted them to still look related! So I tried my best with Carver's eyes to be the same as Hawke as well as his skin tone. This would have most likely been the first portrait commissioned by Leandra, as she had only just lost Carver to the Grey Wardens before they moved into their Estate in High Town.
Finally there is Bethany Hawke.
I tried to keep her and Carver's hair the same, but I gave her her dark eyes that I assume must be from their farther. I also gave Bethany some freckles so her and Hawke would look more similar to one another! I imagine Leandra giving details to the artist on how Bethany looked, and used Hawke as a base for the artist to work from, since they are siblings.
I love this kind of thing, adding to the world of my babies like this is always so fun!🥰✨️
I just wanted to post some pictures of my beautiful girl <3
I started a new save file for the sole purpose of taking photos LMAO
I love my girls, be prepared to get a lot more photos of my Shepard and my Hawke bc I've also started a DA2 photo save, its just more work because I need to change Hawke's appearance between Acts TwT
Physical Appearance: Lane looks a lot like her mother. Both have very round faces with big eyes and a button nose. Her eye colour and hair colour though, come from her father. Her skin is pale, though becomes slightly more tanned the longer she spends in the wasteland. She has those big brown eyes that can sometimes seem Hazel in certain lights and her hair is long, dead straight and a warm blonde. Her build is small and flat, with little to no muscle. She's not a fighter and relies heavily on her intelligence rather than her strength. In the vault she was considered very beautiful and doll like, and in the wasteland sometimes her looks make people feel uncomfortable around her, again, given her doll like features, it makes her stand out.
Defining Features: Like mentioned, she doesn't have just one defining Features, but her looks can be considered "uncanny" sometimes.
Name Meaning: Lane - a narrow road/pathway, Catherine - pure
Date of Birth: 13 July 2258
Family & Friends
Family: Catherine Albert (Mother)(Deceased), James Albert (Father)(Deceased)
Relationship with Family: Lane has never met her mother, who died during childbirth. Her father though, was a different story. Even as a little girl, Lane looked up to her father and wanted to be just like him. She would watch him work in his lab and, when he allowed it, helped him if she could, even in minor ways like passing him twizers. She studied hard in school, once again, motivated by her fathers smarts and desire to be like him. She often tutored Amata on a few subjects and was considered a star student for her entire academic life in the vault. Lane and her father were very close, given that James lost his wife and Lane was all he had left, he loved her with all his heart. When he left the vault, Lane felt betrayed and hurt like never before and even after finding and rescuing him, that feeling of betrayal still stung even if she somewhat understood his reasons. When she lost him, a gaping whole was left in her chest, something that would never be filled again.
Best Friends: Charon, Amata, Butch, Gob, Fwakes
Friendship Dynamics: She saved Charon from Azrakhul by saving up 2000 caps. She didnt have the charisma to free him for less, and she outright refused to kill Carol. Charon and her grow fond of one another and their relationship is a slow *slow* burn. She thinks she's great at talking to people but Charon is just her scary dog privilege. Amata and Lane obviously grew up in the vault together. Amata was more out going than Lane who preferred to let her friend do most of the talking. They were both introverts who enjoyed spending their time reading, drawing and playing quietly on their own. Later, as they got older, Lane got better at protecting herself and Amata from Butch and the Tunnel Snakes by being smart and confusing the shit out of them. Butch and her were never close, though to this day Lane still doesn't know what she did that made Butch dislike her. However, after she saved his mother before fleeing the vault, Butch began to see her as a brave and kind hero who not only saved his mother but was bold enough to escape the vault and the two become friends. At Moriarty's place, Lane wasn't afraid of Gob. She'd seen gross things in her dad's lab, so when she met Gob she was less afraid and more fascinated. Gob and her became fast friends and she often passes letters between Gob and Carol from Megaton to the Underworld. Saving Fwakes was a no-brainer for Lane, even if she argued a little about it with Charon who thought it wasnt such a good idea. She liked Fwakes's personality and when he came to try save her from the Enclave, he soon filled a small place in her heart where a hole had been left when her father died. Fwakes became a fatherly figure to Lane and they often trade scientific facts and talk smarts around Charon who usually tunes them out. At least they're having fun.
Personality & Preferences
Likes: 1. Bugs, Lane finds them fascinating and enjoys studying them... from a distance, obviously. She read about them in the vault, being small and relatively harmless... and then upon entering the wastes was surprised to find their new mutated forms just as if not more awesome. 2. Puzzles, she LOVES a good puzzle! Specifically, the terminal pass code puzzles, she likes sitting and figuring them out... much to Charons dismay considering he has to wait and watch her back. 3. Mirelurk cake, much to Lane's surprise, she actually really enjoys the Mirelurk cake! Of course, nothing can compare to a sweet roll, but the cake comes in close second for her.
Dislikes: 1. The sun, its too hot and while she liked it initially, she missed the coldness of the vault... 2. Sneaking, Lane isn't the best at it and often will step on a twig or nudge a rock and give them away. 3. Mutfruit, she's just not a fan of the taste... sorry Mayor MacCready...
Fears/Phobias: 1. Death, she grew up in a cushy vault with no harm to even think of... so the idea of dying on a random Tuesday to a giant ant scares the crap out of her. 2. Not being smart enough, she's terrified after everything she's learnt in the vault and in the wasteland that it will never be enough and she's not smart enough to do anything helpful... 3. Large bodies of water, in the vault, Lane didnt get much of a chance to learn to swim... and between the radiation and the high possibility of drowning, Lane does her best to avoid water...
Hobbies/Interests: 1. Embroidery, Lane used to love doing it in the vault and making cute little patches for her and Amata's vault suits, now she tries to use her skills to patch up her and Charon's outfits and backpacks to make things last longer! 2. Chess, its not a particularly helpful hobby out in the wasteland, but she use to play often with her father and sometimes Amata in the vault. 3. Reading, obviously there wasnt much activity in the vault, so Lane often took to reading and sometimes had to reread her favourites after so many years...
Pet Peeves: 1. Cracking knuckles, she cant stand the sound! Charon sometimes does it and Lane will cringe and put her hands over his to try stop him from doing it. 2. Loud talkers, people who talk loud for no reason! Especially when Lane is trying to enjoy a quiet morning on her porch in Megaton and some residents start having a screaming conversation between one another... 3. Poor manners, having grown up in the vault, Lane is accustomed to people saying "please" and "thank you" so it was a shock and somewhat disappointment that the good manners did not follow people into the wasteland.
Guilty Pleasures: 1. Romance novels, she was embarrassed about liking them in the vault but Amata knew and would give her some and they would just never talk about it to save Lane the embarrassment. 2. Naps, Lane LOVES a good afternoon nap! Charon doesnt mind much, he always keeps watch, and so when she naps in the day, its much easier for him. 3. The song "Maybe", she will play it on repeat if given the chance
Strengths: 1. Intelligence, she gets it from her father and her hours of studying! 2. Repair skills, she can fix virtually anything and everything if given enough time 3. Accuracy, her aim is surprisingly good for someone who was raised in a vault, but she spent a lot of time using her BB gun to shoot radroaches and after so many years her aim got pretty good!
Weaknesses: 1. Charisma, she thinks shes got good people skills... but its really just because Charon is terrifying and people will just agree with her rather than deal with him... 2. Brute strength, she has no muscle unfortunately and isnt a fast runner... 3. Telling a truth from a lie, she assumes for a long time that no one would lie to her because why would they? But Charon pulls her out of enough troubling situations she gets herself into because of her trusting nature that she's gotten slightly better at being more skeptical...

If you haven't noticed, a lot of my OC's are blonde with blue eyes and pale skin, this is mostly due to me originally creating characters based on myself the first time I play a game and then the second time around I make a cannon character. But sometimes I get really attatched to a specfic character and don't want to change their looks. I'm getting better at making new different looking characters, so here's a sneak peak of some of my fallout characters :)
Physical Appearance: Short curly blonde hair with brown roots, has a prominent scar up along her nose, bright blue eyes, small beauty marks near her chin, slightly tanned, muscular build.
Defining Features: long scar up her nose
Name Meaning: Skye - Island of clouds/Winged, Elaine - Sun ray/Shinning light/Bright
Date of Birth: 07 March 2163
Family & Friends
Family: Alec Ryder (Father)(Deceased), Ellen Harlow (Mother)(Deceased), Scott Ryder (Twin Brother)(Alive)
Relationship with Family: Their family was deeply rooted in the Alliance Military for a long time. Alec Ryder being an N7 operative and Ellen Harlow working in the Allanince. Both Twins joined the military. After their mothers passing, their relationship with their father was strained and miscommunication or a lack of communication all together often played a large part in their relationship. The twins were and are very close, and even if their father never expressed it, he loved them in his own way.
Likes: 1. Beach's and tropical planets 2. Prothean history/artifacts 3. Video Games
Dislikes: 1. Liams stupid plans 2. Being told what to do 3. Pessimistic personalities
Fears/Phobias: 1. Failing to live up to expectations as Pathfinder 2. Spiders 3. Failing to find a safe home/taking care of it for the people
Hobbies/Interests: 1. Collecting Model ships 2. Doodling stupid cartoons 3. Acting (she was a theater kid LMAO)
Pet Peeves: 1. Cora going on about her biotics 2. People clicking their knuckles 3. Cocky attitudes
Guilty Pleasures: 1. Apple pie 2. Driving the Nomad 3. Searchibg new planets/new ancient artifacts
Strengths: 1. Agility, she's quick on her feet 2. Good at combo moves with her biotics 3. Can multitask efficiently if she's in the zone
Weaknesses: 1. She relies too much on her emotions 2. Mainly focuses solely on her biotic powers more than any others 3. Easily distracted (def has ADHD, same girl)
Physical Appearance: Arwen has waist long straighr/wavy red hair, not ginger, but almost blood red. It's a strange colour thats not often seen, and is the same colour as her mother's was and she usually always wears it up in a neat, tight bun. She's built similarly to her father where she's strong but lanky and is flat front, back and sides. She has a thin face with hollow-ish cheeks, full red lips, a sharp pointed nose and hazel/amber coloured eyes.
Defining Features: Her most noticeable feature is her bright red hair thats so long it's giving Rapunzel.
Relationship with Family: Her relationship with her family is strong. She's very close to her father and protective of both her cousins Shianni and Soris. Her mother, Adaia, taught Arwen to fight with a greatsword since she was young even though weapons were not allowed in the Elven Quarters in Denarim. Arwen was always quiet as a child and didnt get along well with most of the other evlish children in the district. After Adaia was killed by humans, Arwen withdrew into herself even more, and became filled with hatred and a lust for vengence on all humans. Shianni was and is, one of the only people that was able to get through to Arwen during this time. Arwen threw herself into her sword fighting and Shianni did her best to keep Arwen from spiraling. Her and Shianni are very close. Soris and Arwen do get along, but Soris is more of a stickler for the rules but will help when push comes to shove. Saving Shianni and the others on her wedding day was the leaping point for Arwen to leave to become a Grey Warden even though she did not want to abandon the elven district...
Friendship Dynamics: Wynne is able to get through Arwen's rough, spiky exterior easier than almost anyone. Her sound advice, her soft kind words, her funny stories, has filled a void in Arwen's heart which had been carved out when her mother was killed. Alistair, out of everyone, has known Arwen the longest out of the group and was her first unofficial friend. Though she would never have called them friends at the time, he treated her with kindness and didn't treat her differently because she was an elf and a woman Grey Warden. They survived so much together they couldn't help but worry for one another, since they were all the other basically had left after the battle and losing all the Grey Wardens. Alistair kind, friendly spirit and not caring about her being an elf made Arwen want to be around him more. Leliana is a good friend for Arwen to teach her to relax. Leliana plays music and sings for Arwen sometimes and explains to Arwen her favourite dresses and shoes and pretty flowers, and Arwen will go out of her way to pick flowers Leliana will like while out on quests or exploring. At first, Sten and Arwen didnt hate but didnt like each other either. They were very similar in the silent brooding, angry department. Once Arwen had helped Sten recover his sword, and taught him more about Ferelden... the two got along like a house on fire. While they dont talk much, they do enjoy spending quiet time in each other's company. Arwen could've and would've killed Zevran if he hadn't proved useful to her. In the beginning anyway... their friendship was a slow one, since Arwen couldn't stand Zevran at first. But when Zevran every now and then opened up to her, she would open up to him and they bonded through their experiences together. But he still annoys the shit out of her, though hes aware and loves to mess with her. Shale was an unexpected friend that Arwen and the party met along the way. Shale and Arwen's friendship is very similar to Sten and Arwen's relationship, silently judging and enjoying one another's company. And they like collecting the shiny crystals together. Shianni is basically Arwen's sister. Arwen would kill for Shianni, and has. Shianni was the only one that managed to pull her out of her dark spiraling void after losing her mother... and Arwen has sworn to protect Shianni with her life ever since. Ogren is like Arwen's annoying but loveable uncle. He teaches her the ways of Beserker sub class, to channel her rage and anger into her fighting. She learns a lot from him, and he cares a lot for the young elf like she's his own kin. A most unlikely pair, Morrigan and Arwen get along like a house on fire. No, no one knows why or understands their dynamic, but from the moment they met in the ruins, Arwen has been polite to Morrigan and in turn, Morrigan was polite to Arwen. Their mutual respect flourished into a friendship between them. In the events of the awakening DLC, Anders joins the Grey Wardens and becames friends and almost a prodigy of Arwen. Though Arwen isn't a mage, she protects Anders like hes her younger brother and teaches him the ways of being a Grey Warden. Obviously, at first, they did not like one another. For obvious reasons. But slowly, through their sharp snipes at one another that turned into witty banter, they became friends. Sigrun and Justice fall into a similar category, Arwen didnt get to know them well before deciding she loves them and would die for them though she'd never admitt it out loud. And similarly, her relationship with Velanna is something they would never say or talk about. But the two are very similar, and fight like a well oiled machine together. The mutual respect for each other is strong.
Personality & Preferences
Likes: 1. Baked goods, they didnt get them often in the elven district but whenever Shianni got ingredients or bought some goodies, she'd have to hide them so Arwen wouldnt eat them all 2. Wynne's Hot Chocolate, it comforts her and before Wynne made (she brings tea and hot chocolate with her from the Circle) Arwen had never had before, she's a sucker for sweet things 3. Her greatsword made from a meteorite, her pride and joy, she loves showing it off and telling anyone who will listen that it's made from a meteorite
Dislikes: 1. Humans, not all of them, but she has a dislike for most of them and is wary whenever she meets a new person. She's skeptical no matter the race usually, but humans she's even more suspicious of 2. Sleeping, she's always been terrible at being able to fall asleep and after Adaia's death she couldn't sleep at all, it got better when Shianni stayed with them but after what occurred at the wedding, Arwen now doesn't sleep because she's so nervous she'll have to be prepared to defend those around her 3. The fade, she's not a massive fan of magic, she doesn't hate it though. But man... the fade is too weird for her...
Fears/Phobias: 1. Disappointing her mother 2. Dying to a human 3. Not being there when Shianni needs her
Hobbies/Interests: 1. Sparing 2. Climbing 3. Collecting gems (for Shale mostly but she likes keeping some for herself)
Pet Peeves: 1. Blood on her leathers, its hard to get out 2. The Chant of Light 3. Emotional people
Guilty Pleasures: 1. A good fight 2. Playing with her Mabari (Brutus) 3. Having her hair brushed, braided and played with
Strengths: 1. Fights with passion 2. Can deal a lot of damage 3. Good at taunting the enemy to attack
Weaknesses: 1. Such such bad trust issues 2. Her friends, she's overly protective of everyone she cares about 3. Can become rageful and lose focus
Physical Appearance: short shaggy brown hair, big bright green eyes, pale skin, vallaslin on her forehead and chin
Defining Features: Her big green eyes are vibrant and her Vallaslin is delicate and eye catching
Name Meaning: Dalia- Branch
Date of Birth: 9:15 Dragon
Family & Friends
Family: Clan Lavellan, Mother (Alive), Father (Alive)
Relationship with Family: Good, was a miracle baby in the Clan. Parents struggled to conceive, so are very protective of her. Clan leader has high expectations of her.
Best Friends: Cullen, Josaphine, Iron Bull, Varric, Dorian, Cole
Friendship Dynamics: Cullen (Boyfriend), Josaphine (Ray of Sunshines), Iron Bull (Chaotic Bestie), Varric (Wise Uncle), Dorian (Yapper x Listener Best friends), Cole (Son, baby boy)
Personality & Preferences
Likes: 1. Listening to people's interests 2. Having lots of new clothes 3. The constellations
Dislikes: 1. Small talk 2. Soft beds 3. Flashy armour
Fears/Phobias: 1. Being discriminated against for being an elf 2. Imposter syndrome for being the Inquisitor 3. Large crowds
Hobbies/Interests: 1. Hunting 2. Riding her Halla 3. Gardening
Pet Peeves: 1. Her ears, they poke out her hair 2. Looking for elfroot 3. Snow, she's not a fan of the cold
Strengths: 1. Swift on her feet 2. Precise strikes, usually always hits her target 3. Has good eyes, can see very well and is observant
Weaknesses: 1. Her left punch/stab is weaker due to the mark 2. Can't take a lot of damage 3. Takes a lot of damage against magic, ice magic specifically
Physical Appearance: Hawke has blonde curly hair and depending on the time period, it changes length. In Lothering and the year she is in Kirkwall, her hair is cut short so it doesn't get in her eyes when she works on the farm. By Act 1, after that year has passed, her hair has grown out somewhat to an awkward bob length and thanks to her curls it makes it look even more short and bouncy. In Act 2 her hair has finally reached her shoulders and is a good length she enjoys. In Act 3, Hawke has grown out her hair long enough to where she usually wears it tied back in a bun, this is what she is seen wearing in Inquisition. Hawke, like her father and younger brother, has striking blue eyes and like her mother and sister has a fuller, rounder face. Thanks to her time working on the family farm in Lothering, Hawke is slightly tanned with a light dusting of freckles and is very muscular.
Defining Features: Although Hawke doesn't have any defining features persay, her most striking one are her vibrant blue eyes. Hawke's nose is slightly crooked after it was broken during her fight with the Arashok, due to her poor healing magic, it never quite went back to exactly as it was before.
Relationship with Family: Before Malcolm's death, the Hawke family was very close knit. Malcolm would teach Hawke and Bethant magic, just enough to control it and protect themselves and taught both Hawke and Carver how to wield weapons (Bethany wasn't as interested). Hawke's main weapon of choice was a quarterstaff and Carver's was a Greatsword. Hawke was and is very protective of her younger siblings and her father used to instill in her a responsibility for them, much to her younger siblings dismay. After Malcolm's death, Hawke took up the mantle of the becoming the provider for the house. Leandra also had a job, but Hawke would help the Blacksmith, make regular runs into Lothering for supplies, train her siblings in both magic and fighting as best she could. While they all struggled with the loss of Malcolm, they still remained close and relied on each other. The older they got the more distant they became. Hawke was a smooth talking, shit eating, mage who could talk almost anyone to handing over their money willingly. Carver was a stickler for the rules and, wanting to be a better provider and protector than Hawke, joined the army. Bethany mostly helped their mother Leandra with her work and was the most smart and educated of the three. After the events of Lothering, fleeing the blight to Kirkwall and losing Bethany, the strain on the three surviving members (and now Gamlen) was even more tense than before. Carver often blamed Hawke for losing Bethany. Claiming she wasn't fast enough and if she'd taught Bethany right maybe she would have lived, but deep down he blamed himself more. Hawke never showed how it bothered her, always having a stupid grin on her face and trying to keep the peace between herself and Carver. Leandra was mostly numb to it all. In the Deep Roads, after Carver accidently drank Darkspawn Blood and was taken by the Grey Wardens, Leandra was angry with Hawke for not having listened and taking Carver into the Deep Roads. Hawke didnt blame her mother, but it did hurt. Eventually, Leandra apologised and didnt blame Hawke anymore but the wound had merely scarred over. When Leandra was taken and turned into a monster, Hawke finally let the cracks show, her guilt and self hatred weighed on her heavily ever since Bethany's death. She blamed herself for her families misfortunes. Gamlen and her may not be best of friends, but when push comes to shove they will defend one another... they're all the other has left.
Best Friends: Varric (Best friend/ Partner in Crime), Fenris (Grumpy x Sunshine/Boyfriend), Isabella (Chaotic Divas), Aveline (Babysitter), Anders (Struggle Relates to Struggle), Merrill (Angel baby)
Friendship Dynamics: Varric and Hawke are like two peas in a pod. Attatched at the hip, you'll never see the one without the other. They get each other like no one else does, know each other better than they know themselves. Is like two halves of the same soul in the most platonic way. Fenris, obviously, hated Hawke in the beginning. Not only was she a mage, but she was a cocky one. Hawke did everything in her power to get Fenris to like her at first, but when she stopped trying so hard and simply treated him like all her other friends he finally started warming up to her. How gently and slowly she'd introduce him to her healing magic, how she explained and taught him her spells so he would understand how they worked, how patient she was, sitting for hours at night in her library beside him, reading the same lines over and over again, teaching him to read. It was a slow, slow burn. But it still burned bright by the end. Isabella is just as, if not more so, chaotic than Hawke. The two will always find trouble to get into and make it a point to go looking for it. Escaping the Blight together and losing Bethany and Aveline's Husband, bonded Hawke and Aveline like no other. Though they couldn't be more different, the mutual love and respect for each other is understandable and their connection is one of pain, but pain they survived together. Anders... is an interesting case. At first, Hawke and Anders got along fine, just like anyone else. But the more adverse and vengeful he became the more Hawke distance herself... yes she had her gripes with the Templars, and yes she agreed on a lot of things with Anders, but his sudden shifts made her worried and soon she couldn't tell the difference between Justice... and her friend. Merrill's blood magic is a big point of contention for her relationship with Hawke. Hawke's father instilled in them at a very young age that blood magic was bad and shouldn't be messed with, and after the Legacy DLC, Hawke's distaste for blood magic became even stronger. But Hawke also supported Merrill, and helped her figure out her own path in life.
Personality & Preferences
Likes: 1. Make-up, which is slightly surprisingly but Hawke's mother was a noble woman at one stage and for fun would sometimes do Bethany and Hawke's make up for them, and Hawke now still tries to do it for herself 2. Reading, it's not like there was much to do in Lothering, Hawke would re-read the same books over and over again as a child! And when she got her mansion in High Town, of course it has a library and she reads as often as she can in it 3. Mabari (her Mabari she named Barkspawn to piss off Carver), though her Mabari hound was an unexpected addition to the team, Barkspawn was a brilliant name Hawke cooked up to annoy Carver in Act 1. She enjoys walking him around High Town and the looks she and Barkspawn get from people passing by.
Dislikes: 1. Blood Magic, as mentioned before, it was instilled in both Hawke and Bethany that blood magic was bad and never to be messed with 2. Cooking/Baking, Hawke cant cook for shit.. she would burn down the house from pouring herself water... so now she doesnt even try anymore 3. Running, while Hawke is strong from her time working on the farm, running is one of her least favourite things. And now that she openly uses magic to fight, she dislikes it even more. She prefers standing at a distance and firing from a single point.
Fears/Phobias: 1. People leaving her, Hawke knows that her personality and being a mage makes her... hard to be friends with, and after Malcolm's death had reoccurring nightmares of being given up to the Circle in Ferelden... 2. The Circle, the horror stories her father used to tell her and Bethany about Circles, true or not, scared her to the point she just hates them all. She didnt know much about Ferelden's Circle, but Kirkwall's Circle was enough to confirm her worst fears about them 3. Becoming a Tranquil, she's met and heard of Tranquil's before. Losing who you are is terrifying to Hawke, and meeting the Tranquil that was like Meradiths assistant scared Hawke even more...
Hobbies/Interests: 1. Card Games, she used to play with the older kids back in Lothering, and Varric re-awakened her love for the high risk high reward stakes 2. Practicing her Make-up, like mentioned, she just really likes doing her mke up 3. Sculpting, surprisingly, one of the few art forms Hawke is somewhat decent at, more so making bowls and cups, but she enjoys the process none the less.
Pet Peeves: 1. Hot weather, it's too hot in her armour, mage robes are long and cover almost everything with heavy fabrics and sometimes even armour on top of that 2. Long Robes, they get in her way, the mage robes that only go to her knees and then it's pants underneath are her favourite, but the ones skmilar to dresses she finds she has to hike up at the knee to run and move if she needs to 3. People underestimating her, Hawke may be a jokester but that doesn't mean she cant and won't kick people's asses, and far too many people have learnt the hard way that Hawke isn't someone to mess with.
Guilty Pleasures: 1. Wicked Grace, of course her favorite card game. 2. Gossip, she loves hearing about the juiciest of discussions, mostly from Isabella when the two women go for a drink together at the Hanged Man 3. Fresh fruits, specifically strawberries, on their family farm in Lothering, Hawke's mother used to grow small pots of strawberries on their kitchen windowsill. Hawke used to sneak in and eat them as they grew as a child, and so to this day fresh strawberries are her favourite.
Strengths: 1. Hand to Hand combat, like mentioned, Malcolm didnt just teach Hawke to fight with magic but to also fight with a weapon, and so every now and then she lets an enemy get close so she can performe some complicated and practiced hits and slams with her quaterstaff to take down her enemy 2. Elemental magic (fire specifically), Hawke's best magic is her elemental magic like ice, fire and earth magic, fire is her best magic as the spells come easily to her and dont use up too much of her mana 3. Lying/Conning people, against her mothers dismay, after Malcolm died, Hawke became very good at lying when she needed to. She would never outright steal, but if someone wanted to willingly hand over their money from a heart reaching, slightly overdramatic, definitely exaggerated sob story about her and her family... then she wouldn't stop them.
Weaknesses: 1. Rogues, she's not very fast on her feet, and fast moving, knife wielding rogue, is more likely to land a hit and do some damage against Hawke than a fellow mage or even a warrior class 2. Healing magic, while she can still use healing magic, it's definitely not as strong as she'd like it to be and can cause some issues on the battle field when her healing spells take time to take effect 3. Spring, she's allergic to pollen, fighting in the Spring months becomes more annoying than anything for Hawke as her allergies play up and sometimes make her sick and tired and therefore have less mana overall.
