Worst part about this is I've only ever used that yellow square emoji once and it was just to see how it looked. This isn't who I am. However, in retrospect, I suppose it is
Reading through the notes is a surreal experience please keep adding more to fuel my effervescent consumption of non descriptive emojis

Insider says Musk, Bezos, Zuckerberg will be on platform with Trump's Cabinet nominees
The people in the top three spots on Forbes' billionaire listâElon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerbergâwill have prime seats at President-elect Trump's inauguration next week. NBC News, citing "an official involved with the planning of the event," reports that the three tech billionaires will be sitting together on the platform with other high-profile guests, including Trump's Cabinet nominees. Bezos and Zuckerberg's companies, Amazon and Meta, have each donated $1 million to the inauguration, while Musk spent more than $250 million to help Trump win the election, reports Reuters.

Yanno, as an artist, I hate drawing kids, and that's unfortunate since most of my OCs have children who are present for the entire main story for some it's kinda the whole plot point that they're where they most definitely shouldn't be.
But the issue is that since I illustrate scenes, I have to look up references for shit, and dear Lords above and below, searching for anything with the word child, even with the words 'drawing ref' behind... Feels like being put on a watch list, EVEN WORSE WHEN I HAVE TO DRAW FAMILY PORTRAITS GODS-
Just a rant, the only reason I feel really gross about this is that I was preyed on by an 'artist' as a minor so it gives me the heebie jeebies when I do artist stuff I know it's a different situation but it still don't feel right.
being at home means going to the food store with my dad which is a hilarious expedition where the two of us very clueless individuals are unleashed and have to read my moms mind to figure out what food my mom wants through very very limited directions and mind reading. so

Honestly everyone in my house is/was neurodivergent and No One ever made a list. Mom's autistic, Dad was ADHD (and more than likely autistic), much older sister the only neurotypical one *technically* (she's a hoarder in the worst possible), my gay ass, flaming dumpster fire, AuDHD, bipolar (finally getting my life together, got a system now thankfully). It was a constant storm of 'oh crap we need everything- what do we need again' sorta stuff :)
I didn't realize these were 2 different post rn, and was confused but also extremely willing to just accept it.

On the opposite end of this, during the early days of the pandemic I was the first one at my job to wear a mask (Chick-fil-A is a dark place... And my dad had cancer) I had recently changed my name tag to my preferred name, and was called a t-nny f-g by a customer after he had tried to convince me to take my mask off, at that point my brain turned off (I was a senior in highschool who Usually dealt with this type of shit by telling whoever said it to meet me somewhere at midnight if they wanted to square up, but I needed the money) I just looked him in the eyes and said "bibbi bobbiti boo, the gay flows through you too." AND HE BROKE DOWN CRYING BECAUSE APPARENTLY HE WAS AND ASKED HOW I COULD TELL???? LIKE BITCH???? So my gaydar is the strongest, and I can make old homophobic men cry with a single line...
all the dergs i did for lilyâs formation, okay whoâs size am i hella wrong about
OH MY GOODNESS, My dad and I used to have 'bookclub' discussing this series!! It was years ago, my aunt actually got us (at the time) the latest book, it was one of the last books my dad read... This made me smile and want to get back into the series!!!
A lot of people around me are having kids and every day it becomes more apparent that hitting your children to punish them is insane because literally everything can be a horrible punishment in their eyes if you frame it as such.
Like, one family makes their toddler sit on the stairs for three minutes when he hits his brother or whatever. The stairs are well lit and he can see his family the whole time, heâs just not allowed to get up and leave the stairs or the timer starts over. He fucking hates it just because itâs framed as a punishment.
Another family use a baseball cap. Itâs just a plain blue cap with nothing on it. When their toddler needs discipline he gets a timeout on a chair and has to put the cap on. When theyâre out and about he just has to wear the cap but it gets the same reaction. Nobody around them can tell heâs being punished because itâs in no way an embarrassing cap, but HE knows and just the threat of having to wear it is enough.
And there isnât the same contempt afterwards Iâve seen with kids whose parents hit them. One time the kid swung a stick at my dog, his mother immediately made him sit on the stairs, he screamed but stayed put, then he came over to my dog and gently said âSorry Ellieâ and went back to playing like nothing happened, but this time without swinging sticks at the nearby animals.
The psych nerds found out ages ago that punishments that make the child think for a few minutes (about one minute per year of age until they're tweens) is much more helpful to develope social intelligence and understanding than punishments which prevents thinking, like the ones that involve pain. In fact, corporal punishment encouraged lying, extreme reactions, violent outbursts, go figure, they don't trust you.
Well now I can correctly moonwalk away from uncomfortable situations
Because everyone deserves to know how to do a mean moonwalk.
