The Crystal Cup
Introducing a new, open-invite, free-to-enter League of Legends tournament: The Crystal Cup!
How Do I Enter?
The Crystal Cup is open-invite, meaning anyone can enter! Registration begins shortly (7/7/2017) and the place to register will be posted both here and as a separate, standalone post on this Tumblr! There are only 15 spots available so don’t be shy! This tournament is NA only!
The Divisions: What Are They?
When registration begins, there will be three available divisions you can sign up for. These divisions are Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl.
The Garnet division is for players that are registering in groups of two or more, but less than five! This is your standard duo/trio/quadra group setup.
The Amethyst division is for players that are registering alone! This is for solo players!
The Pearl division is for full teams of five players! Quintuple the action, guys!
Divisions are in place so that everything is as far as possible! Groups will be organized so that teams registered as a Pearl team will be paired against other Pearl teams if possible, whereas Amethyst and Garnet groups will be organized in groups of five with each other!
What Are The Prizes?
I knew you’d ask that! Here are the following prizes:
First Place:
1500 RP, the rare and exclusive Triumphant Ryze skin, and a mystery icon!
Second Place:
1000 RP and a mystery icon!
Third Place:
A mystery icon!
All players on the placing teams win the prizes! So all five of you win the RP, icons, and skins!
What Are The Rules?
The rules for the Crystal Cup are simple:
1. Absolutely no cheating!
2. No throwing or trolling in your games!
3. And no flaming or hatespeech allowed during the games!
Remember, this tournament is free-to-enter and open-invite: Invite your friends, get some buddies, and throw down with some League of Legends!
How Do I Register?
Once the website for the Crystal Cup is online (on 7/72017), you’ll be able to register through there! Be sure to note your Summoner name, team role (support, adc, etc) and what division you’re under! Everything will be clearly labeled in the registration sheet.
