There's an EU initiative going on right now that essentially boils down to wanting to force videogame publishers with paid games and/or games with paid elements such as DLC, expansions and microtransactions to leave said games in a playable state after they end support, or in simpler terms, make them stop killing games.

A "playable state" would be something like an offline mode for previously always online titles, or the ability for people to host their own servers where reasonably possible just to name some examples.

I don't think I need to tell anyone that having something you paid for being taken from you is bad, which is a thing that routinely happens with live service and other always online games with a notable recent example being The Crew which is now permanently unplayable.

Any EU citizen is eligible to sign the initiative, but only once and if you mess up that's it. You can find it here. (https://citizens-initiative.europa.eu/initiatives/details/2024/000007_en)

Even if you're not European or you signed it already, you can share this initiative with anyone who is, even if they don't care about videogames specifically because this needs a million signatures and there is different thresholds that need to be met for each EU country for their votes to even count and could also be a precedent for other similar practices like when Sony removed a bunch of Discovery TV content people paid for.

well let's see... I spent a couple hours yesterday texting a detailed summary of the first book of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children to someone who hasn't read it, along with my thoughts on it, and plan to continue with the other books, so that should count

1- astrology: I can go on forever, in fact it's so intrinsically a part of me that I think in astrological archetypes way.

1. Any TMNT iteration (minus IDW and '87 only bc I haven't gotten to them yet) and (most of) their respective fanfics: Literally my main (and only) Tumblr page is dedicated to them lmao

2. My OCs and their lore + their art: There are so many aspects about them that I could talk about. The most interesting bit about them (to me, at least) is their evolution from when I was a kid up to now, and the magic system that just spawned outta nowhere lol. I also try to add bits of lore into their art to make it more interesting lol

3. Stardew Valley: I only JUST got into this game like, a couple months ago, but OMG. ITS AMAZING. I love it so much (I recently married my friend and were getting our first child soon :D)

4. LMK: Haha. Hahaha. Okay I never thought I would be able to talk about LMK (Lego Monkie Kid) of all things but... I read Journey To The West. I love JTTW's Wukong. I love LMK's Wukong. 5. The Bad Batch (surprisingly): I blame my friend, he got me into Star Wars and introduced TBB to me 💀. Tbh it was a lot more investing than the other SWs movies I watched, and I love the characters (specifically Tech and Wrecker).
