I go into the tag for epilepsy and its all flashing lights. We can’t use our own tag because people without epilepsy fill it up with improper warnings.

Use ‘flashing’ in place of ‘epilepsy’ in your tags. You aren’t warning people of epileptics, you’re warning us of flashing lights. Please please tag properly. Epileptics say this endlessly and constantly and it’s ignored. You are risking lives by doing this.

ASL modern au. Little stuff i would like to see.

+In my au the ASL start out in an orphanage before being adopted.

+Makino is a worker at Dandan's orphanage and works part time in her family's bar.

+Buggy, Crocodile, and Mihawk are married with three kids they adopted/ had from a previous marriage (Robin, Perona, and Zoro)

+Ussop's mother is a nurse.

+Shanks and Benn are married, Uta is biologically Shanks', the mother left her with him and they aren't in contact.

That is all I have... for now.

ASL modern au

The incident that brought the brothers closer and made them officially accept each other as brothers was when Luffy had his first ever seizure.

They had to share a room for a bit, at that point they were fine with each other, Ace and Sabo weren't hostile like the used to be, but they didn't care much for Luffy and tolerated him.

One night Luffy just wouldn't be quiet, no matter how much Ace and Sabo asked him to. So in a fit of anger Ace threw him with his pillow, but Luffy kept making noises. Ace jumped out of bed and put on the lights to confront Luffy, but all he sees is luffy convulsing and throwing up on his bed. It scared both Ace and Sabo shitless, they ran to get Dandan and she put him on his side. Once the fit was over he was rushed to the hospital.

It was only when Luffy was brought back two days later that they learned of his diagnosis, they silently started watching luffy, and have been there for most of his seizures. They also make sure he takes his meds on time and gets enough sleep.

Like I said in my last post, both brothers learn first aid because the incident had made them feel so helpless.

in my modern au of the ASL brothers. Luffy has stress induced epilepsy.

Ace, Sabo and Luffy meet at Dandan's orphanage, Ace and Sabo were 13, Luffy was 11. Sabo still has his scars.

When Luffy was brought in Ace and Sabo didn't like him immediately, no matter how persistent he was. But he was worming his way in regardless. And after an incident with Luffy they became brothers.

Both learn first aid after that incident too because they felt so helpless when it first happened. Ace also blamed himself. After a fit Luffy always ends up sleeping for the rest of the day.

Marine Luffy would address his brothers and family by their titles. Because he's trying to push them away further.

If he talks about them he always address the as 'Fire Fist Ace' and 'Revolutionary Sabo' or as 'Whitebeard's son's'. He'd address Shanks as 'Red Hair'. Even Garp is given this treatment. He's know as 'Vice Admiral'

So it's already very cannon in all my au's that the ASL brothers sleep in a pile, (even in the marine Luffy au before Luffy became a marine)

Anyway-

I'd like to think the further apart they sleep, the safer they feel, for example you'll find them in different locations across the ship, different rooms ect. Because they feel safe being apart from each other

But the closer they sleep the more anxious they are, and the more unsafe they feel in their environment. It's like a safety feature, and a comfort, to keep each other safe and warm, reminding each other that the other is still there and breathing.

Like if it's a really stormy night on the Moby in the Wb au you'll find the ASL curled up together in their shared room, in one bed, making like a nest, sometimes they'll drag some of the crew in, on rare occasions when they feel truly frightened they'll take over Whitebeard's bed, because it's bigger and he never chases them away, also, comfort from the only father they really know.

But, in the Marine Luffy au, they can't, because they're so far apart from each other, so Ace and Sabo can pile together to comfort each other and keep each other safe, but Marine Luffy can not, he's on his own, that's one of the reasons he doesn't sleep much, he doesn't have anyone that he can really comfortably sleep around, except maybe Koby, but that's just a nap here and there, and it's rare. So whenever Marine Luffy feels really unsafe and scared wherever he sleeps, he'll pile on a bunch of blankets, or get weighted blankets and tie them around himself to imitate his brothers hugging him

In my dad buggy au, the ASL join the circus and are the most popular acts

Ace, before he gets his devil fruit, does fire acts, anything to do with fire really.

After he got his devilfruit it got more intricate. He also did some acrobatic acts with his brothers

Sabo became an acrobat, he is the best out of the three brother's when it comes to acrobatics

Luffy is tricky, cause on the one hand I see him in acrobatics, but, he'd also totally be the person shot out of a cannon or taming Richie along with Moji,

I'm picturing kid Luffy in some clown makeup to match Buggy, all the ASL have some clown motif going on,

I just think circus performer ASL is neet

Buggy being the proud dad teaches them mostly. But everyone on the crew also love teaching the ASL and actively help them with their practices

I just remembered the crowbar because of Jade and it would be so funny if the crowbar is constantly trying to get its user to kill people while simultaneously trying to get them to take better care of themselves.

Like you can't kill as well if you're tired and haven't been eating right dammit!

A good user is a healthy user!

The Crowbar definitely makes sure whoever is wielding it takes better care of themselves, he can't physically do anything, but he can nag, and that works 99% of the time

The Crowbar: hey man you haven't slept in a while, why not take a nap?

User: I'm fine

The Crowbar: GO TO SLEEP!

It'll ask nicely the first time, then it will start harassing its user

Marine luffy! AU after he leaves the marines and Marineford happens meeting Shanks again for the first time in years and breaking down crying trying to return his hat.

“Im so sorry, I can't be the pirate you always wanted”

Shanks is devastated because his baby has too many scars yet that hat is in perfect condition.

Anyway on a lighter note Shanks is the only one besides Luffy who has gotten his hands on the Cursed Crowbar and not immediately been told to kill everyone.

I'M SO SORRY THIS IS LATE!😭

But I one 100% agree! Luffy made sure to keep Shanks hat safe and in perfect condition, he had it locked in a safe on whatever ship he traveled on, only taking it out to remind him of when he wasn't as miserable

Luffy might be scarred and damaged, but he refused any harm coming to his hat

And Shanks finding the crowbar would just be so funny 🤣

How did ace sabo and.. basically everyone who loves and cares about luffy reacted when they found out luffy is a marine??

They were probably shocked. And wanted to beat garp.

Oh they were definitely surprised,

Ace and Sabo, whity out Whitebeard noticing, managed to corner Garp one time and demanded answers, and he just said that he trained Luffy to be a marine, and that it wasn't that big of a deal, (it was), nobody was impressed and Ace actually wanted to set out and drag his brother back and make him join his crew so that he won't be a stupid marine anymore

Shanks was pissed when he heard the news from Ace, because his little anchor had promised to be a great pirate, but he knew if he stormed the marine headquarters to snatch Luffy that it will be problematic, he was barely holding it in though

Dragon was pissed at Garp, he knew how manipulative those marine trainers were, he was forced to be a marine too at one point, he knew that they probably told Luffy a bunch of lies to try and get him to cooperate, (they did, and it worked), he had a huge fight with Garp

that's when they all decided to try and find Luffy and keep him away from the marines

Marine Luffy & WBP Luffy handle their abandonment issues differently

Marine Luffy avoids those he holds dear and tries to avoid getting close to people, because "you can't be abandoned by the people close to you if you don't have people close to you😁👍

Where as -

Whitebeard pirate Luffy is the exact opposite, he's always with one of his brothers or pop's, he's never alone, doesn't allow it, he'll be glued to someone's side for the entire day and night if given the chance, an avid supporter of the buddy-system🧑‍🤝‍🧑
