what people don’t understand about how adhd is disabling is that it’s not just getting temporarily distracted from, like, school work or hobbies. it’s getting distracted/being unable to motivate yourself to go to the doctor, eat regularly, do hygiene tasks, etc. it’s not knowing when or how long it will take you to do something, ANYTHING, and in many cases that thing is taking a shower or keeping your house from turning into a biohazard. it’s about being fundamentally incapable of controlling your attention and focus on anything, even and especially things you need to do to survive.
You are trying to move into an apartment with your favorite Pokemon. The building is strict about which Pokemon are allowed inside but it’s super affordable. How hard do you think it will be to convince the landlord to let you keep it in the building?
Easy as can be, perfect apartment dweller
Might take some convincing
Basically a coin flip
It will be an uphill battle but I might be able to, while saying goodbye to my deposit
No increased rent, deposit or argument could convince any landlord to let us in

I am the landlord/other/results
Okay so I don't think the landlord wants Giratina inside my apartment. I will admit a certain skepticism myself as to Giratina's ability to fit inside the apartment. However, if Giratina wants to be in my apartment I don't think there's anything my landlord or I can do to stop this from happening, and surely the merciful and the sensible option is to refrain from even trying.
Mimikyu is technically potentially dangerous but it does have the advantage of being quite small.

I’m genuinely curious, has anybody ever played through Majora’s Mask and not been stressed out like… the whole time
what part of majora’s mask is stressful? it’s the most beautiful game in the franchise, it fixes or betters every flaw ocarina had, and the story is fun and engaging, where’s the stress?

From a completely different comment section:
Everybody get more anti war right now
What is even there to say? I can't keep waking up in a world where I read the news and I see schoolchildren bombed, millions of people displaced, old ladies carrying their cats and while their houses get turned into rubble, the waste of industry and human talent into bombs that shoot down other bombs.
Am I insane? what the fuck is going on?
Even the most just war of liberation is painful and regrettable, but you well know I'm not talking about that, we're watching first world countries sell weapons to feed endless war and just bombing targets like if it's a reflex act just what they do, the complete surrender of any hope of building a better world or coexisting and we're all treating this like it's just the natural state of things.
I'm sorry if I'm being dramatic but genuinely, get more anti war right now.
Warfare is not an inherent state of humanity, in any case, and it can and it will be abolished. I'm tired of people treating this like it's just the weather or nature. We know the material reasons behind war and they don't hold up and won't hold up forever.
Very quick question: in "Tomodachi Life living the dream", when you go to that one part where it tells you what gender are you attracted to, is it possible to not choose any of those..
It is possible! You can make your Mii attracted to no one.

What the heck! As of this reblog, this comic has 21 notes. Apparently a little reblog chain happened, but I don’t really remember noticing. Much higher numbers than my usual 0 or 1. My first taste of success, and I totally missed it!
honestly, if I had a comic take off I wouldn’t mind this one. I still like the joke.
after I watched fnaf it was like omg. I can't go to bed freddy fagbear will be in my closet
guess who just made another horrific typo
There are two unrelated metroidvanias based on the classic Little Nemo comics coming out this year, which feels like kind of an obvious cut – of course you'd adapt Little Nemo as a metroidvania, if you were going to adapt it as anything – but it got me thinking: what would be the least suitable public domain media to give the metroidvania treatment?
I feel like a lot of folks in the note are interpreting "worst" to mean "most difficult to justify the protagonist actually going anywhere or doing anything", but that just militates against video game adaptations in general, not against metroidvanias in particular. We can do a lot worse.
maybe the oddessy? Simply because of the scale of the game world making backtracking into so much of a chore, and the source material itself effectively necessitating backtracking in the game?
I'm not sure if Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is public domain yet but that one could be pretty bad too, especially because it has just enough material to make an ability tree out of, but all of it would require going so heavily against the themes of the source material?
It is very much public domain, but that fact gives it a lot of previous adaptations to work with, including some conventions that have popped up in adapting it.
I do agree that you’d have to go against the themes to make it work (which is also pretty standard for adaptations of Strange Case) but it does still have the potential to be entertaining, which might disqualify it from being the worst. If you want to keep closer to the themes I think a Metroid-brainia (terrible genre name, btw) would be a better fit?
