I love this dude, but mostly I’m excited that cable knit sweaters exist in Star Wars
This looks like a “humans of new york” picture
Sometimes a Mon Cal just needs to be Mon Comfy.

Knives Out
Knits Out.
Knits BEEN out.
Phenomenal knitwear in every shot. Cannot speak highly enough of the quality scarves, gloves, hats, and sweaters.
Chris Evans' character is essentially just a sweater model.
6/7. Knits to kill for.
Joker
”Put on a happy face”?
More like “put on a sweater.”
I’m just joking. Arthur/Joker/Joaquin wears a sweater in the very first scene. He actually wears sweaters pretty often, when he’s not shirtless or in a clown outfit.
4/7.
Avengers: Endgame
Thor proves, once again, that he is the best avenger, by providing the only solid knitwear representation in this three hour CGI spandex-fest.
SPOILER ALERT!
Special shout out to the doubled-up sweaters Thor wears at the end.
2/7.
Shazam!
Superhero movies are normally a mess of spandex, but man, Shazam! came through. Sweaters in every scene, hats, fingerless gloves, headbands...
Thank you, Shazam! Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need.
6/7
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
Mediocre. Just a handful of itchy poly-blend school uniform sweaters. I think Miles' roommate had a knit hat on at one point, but overall a disappointment.
3/7.
^trying and barely succeeding at knitwear inclusion^
Sorry to Bother You
Sweater vests abound! Cash wears them quite often (before becoming a power caller).
But the real revelation here? The SHIRT that had a chunky knit PRINTED ON IT like a pattern. We get a close up to admire it. It totally counts.
5/7.
Ant-Man and the Wasp
Knits are pretty thin on the ground, but Dr. Pym wears a sweater vest the entire time, so at least there’s that.
2/7.
Incredibles 2
If you were expecting generic cgi fabrics, THINK AGAIN.
At least three sweaters, knit pixel by pixel, show up on screen. Violet rocks a button-down, and Evelyn Deavor shows up in a chunky knit in her first scene.
Nobody was making them put knitting in their movie.
PIXAR WENT THERE.
THEY WENT THERE.
Next time, there should be more.
4/7.
American Animals
Somewhere, under all that flannel, amidst all that paneled wood, some truly average sweaters and sweater vests lurk. Also, a nondescript hat shows up on Warren.
But honestly, just so much flannel.
2/7
Here ya go
It’s real!
Illegal hippoglace yarn sounds bitchin’
Thanks @the-disreputable-dog-7
Read the phasma novelization there's knitting in that.
What kind of wool? What’s being made? Who is knitting??I have questions and need answers.Seriously. Send quotes.
Solo: A Star Wars Story
Absolutely no knitting.
Why is there never any knitting in space?
Wookiee fur would probably make great yarn.
0/7
Avengers: Infinity War
Wanda has a pretty decent hat early on.
Also on a metaphorical level, there was some highly advanced knitting together of characters and storylines.
See what we did there? Great.
Because we have to go cry and look up conspiracy theories.
2/7.
^please note the lack of sweater^
A Quiet Place
Shoutout to this entire movie for some EXCELLENT knitwear.
Well, not a shoutout... for obvious reasons.
Every single character wears some kind of sweater, the son wears this phenomenal hat the entire time, and we even get some felted action going.
6/7.
^gazing at all the good yarnwork^
