Working as a social worker who planned activities and groups for both young kids and teens I remember this exact scenario coming up in my teen groups (who often reminded me that my birth year started with a “19!?”) multiple times. Best.. Mirror.. Move.. Ever.

I think I was even sitting in the same posture at the end of our activity table as I sardonically asked them “who’s old now?”

The only other thing that bested this was when one of the teens was explaining homestuck to the group and before they could even ask me a question I pulled the Aslan v White Witch line and. Like. I know I shouldn’t fell this much but it was easily in the top 3 moments for that group for me.
