It's all been leading to this. Apologies upfront, I'm going to preface my "review" with some sentimentality and verbose, superlative rambling. As everyone keeps saying, IT'S BEEN 10 YEARS! I was 11 when Iron Man came out. Now, I'm a film graduate, half-way through my MA. I've been through four stages of education, had first kisses, relationships, my heart broken, made friends, lost friends. I've literally grown up from a child, to a teenager, to an adult and throughout it all, the MCU has been a constant. A reliable distraction and source of joy. An obsession that has provided memorable

A ★★★★ review of Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)

It's not often a trilogy gets better with every instalment and concludes decently. Not many people seem to like the Maze Runner series. Audiences are tired of Young Adult dystopian fiction adaptations, drained after the depressing drawn-out two-part finale of the Hunger Games (actually one of my favourite franchises) and put off by the likes of Divergent, which failed so spectacularly it never got its televised finale. The trend is over - even though it's more relevant than ever. Ah well, at least The Death Cure is an explosive end. To think I fell asleep the first time I watched
