Would anyone else in this god forsaken world happen to feel like giving neurodivergent people extra time to do things is NOT "unfair to neurotypicals"?

Could anyone else possibly consider the idea that you could be lenient with deadlines for neurodivergent people, not because you're picking favorites or trying to exclude anybody, but simply because they might literally need it?

Is it possible that anyone else could maybe agree that having a mental disability means that some neurodivergent people genuinely just need special treatment and extra opportunities to complete a task?

Anxiety is a real thing that stops people from performing typical acts in their life. And usually, its brought on by trauma response.

Ever had a parent yell at you for anything, so you ran to your room and couldn't bring yourself to talk to them for a portion of-- or even the whole-- day? Congradulations! You have demonstrated a form of anxiety.

Ever had someone get angry at you, and you couldn't bear the thought of talking to them to resolve the issue anytime soon so you avoided them? Anxiety.

Anxiety isn't some made up bullshit to get out of a job; its a real, daily occurance that happens a lot- mainly BECAUSE of other people. If you can't see that, and worse: scold someone for their anxiety... then you are part of the problem.
