I’m a fan of the ban The Cure. So I made a drawing of my persona in the same pose as the album cover for The Cure Greatest Hits. I’m really happy how this turn out, especially since I struggle to draw hands. I’m able to draw them proportionally large but I resort to Animal Crossing or Adventure time hands when drawing smaller. I feel like I could improve colour diversity in the stars though.

Greetings my crows, today this morning I went to an outdoor thrift store with my mother. There were fave things I brought I wanted to show.
The first stand I went to was selling old jewellery, I brought a chunky crystal ring and two fairies for $15.00. It’s been a dream to own a chunky crystal ring and those fairies. I’m so happy!
The second stand I went to had this shirt, I love it because of the art style of the shirt’s design and that fact it had a bat on it. The only thing I didn’t understand about the shirt the fact it was $40.00?
The last stand I went to had this beautiful purple scarf for $5.00. There’s these group of cool alternative girls at my school who wear scarfs kinda like this one but with a different material, more thinner kinda like the ones from the 2010s . Something I very rarely talk about here is that i love learning languages! (at least when I'm in the mood for it lol)
I taught myself modern Greek when I was 12 - which helped me when I started learning ancient Greek as well - which is something I find really cool :)
As of now I'm fluent in Italian (native language so obv) and English (C2 level), I can read/understand most French and Spanish, some Greek and Portuguese, plus some general knowledge of German and Swedish
I've also tried getting into slavic languages bc I LOVE the culture but for some reason I cannot learn a thing 😭
i tore my right hip abductor muscle doing track in 8th grade and then re-tore it during fall guard my sophomore year and it’s literally never been the same 😭 (it hurts when i drive for over 30 minutes at a time lmao) BUT on the fun side i can crack my hip really easily now and it makes horrible grating noises that can scare the shit outta people who don’t know the hip lore
all this in addition to my hyper flexibility and my back being legitimately Built Different (hahaha it’s an inward curve from scoliosis) makes me incredibly flexible in a deeply off-putting way and pretty freaking good at dance

I wanted to show some more patches I made that go along with my heart patch. I decided to ditch the idea of sewing the heart onto be cloths in fear the paint might wash off (the paint isn’t the best). I decided to make a banger of organ patches and in two-ish days I’ve completed two more patches for my project.

I did a bit of sewing for this on like the veins and flowers. But don’t be too fooled because I did hot-glue the skull flower and leaves. I was inspired by Rabbitology’s lung dress with the veins, and the flowers being from the fact I’m fascinated by the idea of flowers growing from lungs. It kinda reminds my of Frida Kahlo’s artwork + my mother did say that it looks like the album cover of Lung by Florence + The Machine.
Right after finishing the lungs I moved onto the eye angle. I’ve drawn these in the past as a way of learning who to draw wings also eye angles are wicked looking. They remind me of Weirdcore images, how that’s what they actually look like according to Christian’s(I’m not Christian that’s just what I’ve heard) and weirdly Angle by Massive Attack and Horace Andy.
I made this heart spiral patch today, I was feeling inspired and I was tired of not being motivated to make art or doing something crafty. I’m thinking of sewing it onto some pants (I’m thinking black baggy jorts).
I know things are scary and look bleak. Hope is gonna be difficult, but I think the worst thing we can do is forget to support each other through this. What ever bad situation you're in, youre gonna make it through, and you're gonna find people who love you and are so damn happy you're in their lives. I love you all so much.

Because of the loss of my husband, I now live with my daughter Najah and she is a mother of four children, facing the harshness of life with patience and strength despite the severe suffering she went through because of the war.
