Currently watching: I finally had time to finish the Mud episode of TOS last night. What a ride lol. As a reminder, Doc recommended I watch TOS in order to better appreciate Trials and Tribbleations. *the specter of canon Julian whump breathes down my neck* So next up is “What Little Girls Are Made Of.”

Currently reading: I’ve got A LOT going on behind the scenes, so my watching, reading, and writing time has all taken a beating. And honestly that’s not going to change until May, should things go according to plan. (It’s…a long tragic backstory I’m not sure I want to get into right now.)

I was going to do a reread of The Great Gatsby both for enjoyment but also I have Garashir fic reasons for that too. But I’ve stalled out on chapter 1.

I have a lot of audiobooks queued up. (Well, a lot for ME. I’m a physical book enthusiast and I usually don’t have the attention span to listen to books. But I’m a broke ass bitch with credits saved up, so eh.) I’ve added Project Hail Mary to my library, but currently it’s sitting behind Shogun by James Clavell and A Stitch in Time. And I’ll likely have to restart Shogun because I’m stalled out on the prologue. I remember enjoying it when I had time to listen. It’s just life got chaotic and I totally don’t remember what I listened to previously.

The land of fic is the only area I have made any reading progress. I last read “the sounds that go to make your name” by exlibra, an achingly tender post ASIT reunion.

I have to read “Angel’s Wild” in short bursts because I’m on the endgame and I can’t often afford the time to get sucked in. But chapter 46!!!!! *Muppet arm flailing* In the least spoilerific way possible, Dean rides a tree beast into battle. The battle? Save Cas. I beg of thee, read “Angel’s Wild.”

In between “Angel’s Wild”stints, I wait with baited breath for chapter 3 of @knivesandteeth “A Dog-Boiled Cardassian” and I really should get back to “Tonight On Ring Of Revenge” by @jaimehwatson when I get the time. I did enjoy chapter 1 immensely. 😁

Last search: *blush* Ok, this requires explaining. Because I guess the most simplistic terms would be…looking up a hentai streaming service…DON’T LAUGH AT ME I DIDN’T KNOW WHAT IT WAS! I CAN EXPLAIN!

Ok, so I watch Geoff Thew aka Mother’s Basement and I always enjoy his seasonal anime good/bad/trash videos. Especially the trash, call me a raccoon on how I dig into that trash. But I’m selective about that because A LOT of trash anime these days is just Isekai slop after Isekai slop, my beloathed. (Press the metaphorical button if y’all want a Ted Talk on why I despise Isekai.) So I was watching MB’s “Hottest Trash Anime of Winter 2026.” And towards the end, he says, “What if Chobits was even hornier?” and shows a pair of women on screen. You have. My FULL attention. I already want that purple haired sex bot’s hand in marriage. So I went to Google to figure out where I could watch “Does It Count If You Lose It To An Android?” I had never heard of OceanVeil so uh…yeah. I don’t watch a ton of smutty stuff since I prefer to READ smut. (Idk man I’m more easily squicked out actually watching the dollies do the nasty. *I* want to be the voyeuristic cameraman. And yet I have aphantasia. Some days I really have to metaphorically smack on the old brain box to even get a clear picture of hot Cardassian on human action. Oh well.)

Uh. So. That’s why I Googled a hentai streaming site. NEXT QUESTION!

Currently working on: Well, again, there’s a lot of personal crap that’s been taking up a lot of time and energy when I’m not at work. And I’m often at work. I’m TRYING to work on several different fics at once because Lizard Man and Doctor Twink make my brain go brr. I only have 1 completed chapter to show for it. The rest of my outlines are splattered all over @imadoctornotanescalator ‘s DMs. If anyone other than Doc actually cares, I can make a separate post with more details on the WIPs. But that’s what I’d rather be spending my free time on. Hopefully I can truly start that in earnest starting in May.

And if those people had to deal with your problems, they wouldn’t be doing any better.
