No Justice League identity reveal but Nightwing gets recruited to be a member
Batman wants to keep his family safe but also realizes that his baby boy is a grown man and can make his own decisions, even if this baby gives him a heart attack.
Nightwing is strong, smart, and levelheaded in battle. He’s got a good personality that many heroes, young and old, admire greatly. It would be a great disservice to the the hero world.
So Nightwing joins the Justice Leauge.
Boom, immediately everyone feels like something is wrong. Nightwing is a legend of his own in the superhero community, just like Batman. Obviously, the League figured the only two unpowered humans in the team would get along, but this is too much
Nightwing is constantly on him. Hanging off his shoulders, playing with his fingers, draped over his lap, flipping off his shoulders??? Doing a whole acrobatic routine based on Batman’s body??? It’s strange and off putting.
Batman pretends like it’s not even happening, like he’s completely used to it.
He calls him nicknames, mocks his voice and his serious attitude, argues with him. It’s like the League has been dumped in an alternate dimension. (They’ve checked, but no… still the same dimension)
Now, something hero’s are painfully aware of is that Batman can be kinda territorial about his food. He doesn’t do jokes about trying to steal his food. He leveled Hal with such a flat stare that the man actually apologized and stayed silent for an entire lunch period
And Nightwing has grown close enough to all the main League members that he’s invited to sit at their ‘table’ for lunch. Another reason they’re suspicious of Nightwing, he voluntarily sits by Batman
Nightwing has his own food and finishes it in record speed (obvi not counting Flash) but then… he starts picking at Batman’s…?
Batman doesn’t even blink or slap his hand away. Then Nightwing opens his mouth like a baby bird waiting to be fed and… Batman feeds him??? He cuts off the best part of his steak and just pops it into Nightwing’s mouth.
Why are they both acting like this is complete normal???
Nightwing is stealing his lunches, taking snack out of his utility belt (which is just wow cause why does Batman carry so many snacks??), taking sips of his drinks or just stealing the whole thing for himself
It’s absolutely crazy
And on rare occasions, when Nightwing is eating something he doesn’t like or can’t finish, he just pushes over to Batman. And he eats it!!
The League checks again just to make sure they still haven’t been transferred to another dimension
Skizz was working on his base when his communicator went off
Geminitay: have you checked your mail today?
Skizzleman: nope
Skizzleman: should i got check it?
Geminitay: yes i sent you something
Skizzleman: is it going to kill me
Geminitay: no you wierdo its just a gift
Skizz chuckled to himself as he closed his communicator and flew over to his mail box.
Sure enough the light indicating a package was lit up, inside was a shulcker box with a bow on it and a tag that read 'from gem to dad #2'. Skizz opened the box and pulled out the shirt.
Gem saw the shirt online and bought it for skizz as a joke. She forgot she ordered it until it came in but the joke was still funny so she cut the sleeves off to look like skizz's suit and sent it off, messaging skizz to tell him to go check his mail then promptly got distracted and forgot about it again.
Untill the weekly hermitcraft meeting when skizz walked in with his chest puffed out wearing the shirt that said "yes! i'm a lucky dad. i have a freaking awesome daughter she's stubborn, messy and a bit silly sometimes but she is a perfect mixture of angel and warrior we are the best partners in crime and i'm proud to be her dad
(yes, she bought me this)"
Grian nearly fell out of his seat laughing as gem tried to hide her head in her hands.
In the end they all had a good laught and skizz refuses to give up the shirt.
Gem also got one for impulse because he was salty.
Philza and martyn being the same person and messing with all his friends is so funny because he would totally be the Hand of the Red King and Antarctic Emperor at the same time, neither Ren nor Techno knowing what's going on untill the two nations meet for an alliance and Phil/Martyn has to come clean (they punt him to the moon)
The amnesia headcannon is where some entity (probably the Ender king) yeets Phil into some random world with some magic blast or something.
So he wakes up at the start of third life with nothing. Being the kind person that he is (he totally is in correspondence with the watchers and Ender king) Grian gives him a new name and lets him go on his merry way. Meanwhile Kristen, Techno, Tubbo, Fit, and everyone else are all panicking because Phil is missing
On that note, do you think Martyn has moments of clarity where he gets a glimpse of the life he had?
What if he accidentally called Cleo ‘Kristin’ during a fight on double life? Did he go pale as a ghost when Cleo asked him who Kristin was? Do you think he had a panic attack because he knows that this Kristen person is important to him, but he can't even remember her face?
Do you think that his hand instinctively to his ring finger to fiddle with a wedding ring that is no longer there?

Alright I spent an hour and a half making this hypothetical Life Series season. It is not serious at all please don’t take it seriously. Buckle up for a long post and reading nonsense.

ok so since it's just occurred to me that the fandom is constantly growing and changing and learning, there's some bits of hermit backstory that I know that others might not. hermitfacts coming up:
the server was built as an equal mix of builders and redstoners (and then Joe Hills was added as a WILDCARD to shake things up)

tango is the father of the iron farm, before 1.14 made iron farms easy, your best bet was to ask tango. tango also modded villagers before the villager update
etho invented the etho hopper clock, revolutionised the minecraft let's play, and inspired a lot of the server to play/film
impulse is the guy behind the item sorter, and he is a master of villager manipulation, with his villager breeder being in massive use
bdubs' brother, pungence, joined hermitcraft before he did and played for season one
iskall is behind the vault hunters mod and it's really cool and you should check it out
the way cub built concorp inspired Mojang to update the way villagers work
doc is friends with the Mojang game Devs (even if they took his arm)
Hypno runs the hermitcraft website, even when he's not active on the server
Welsknight came in to defend the others in a rap battle when he was away from the server
Stress runs a fitness channel alongside her Minecraft channel and being a parent
Joe hills used to have a webcomic and do drawing streams - he saw twitch be born, and will likely see twitch die

My friend Carrot and I once did a “trivia hunt” contest - looking for the weirdest, most obscure fun facts about the server and members as possible.
So these aren’t necessarily backstory facts, but here’s tons of Hermit fun facts I know. I can provide sources for like 99% of these if I try.

There’s an official Hermitcraft theme song
Jono, who makes music for some hermits (including about ALL of Grian’s timelapse music) is Ren’s brother
“Xisuma” is Music with an x instead of a c and an a at the end (Music -> Musix -> Amusix -> Xisuma)
X is ripped
X has dyspraxia
X and Joe are the only hermits to have part of season 1 and never gone inactive - they’ve never Not been hermits, ever.
We all know X counts his episodes by total instead of by season but he actually skipped Episode 404 because of Error 404 Webpage not found
Etho had a block made in his honour in an April Fool’s update called the Etho Slab
There’s a solid chance Etho has never paid for Minecraft ever (he seemingly has no cam account and got MC before it cost money)
Scar was a really good swimmer when he was younger and was notably good at the butterfly

Scar’s skin and Youtube profile picture is Indiana Jones. His PFP was made by ZloyXP, the Hermit Recap writer.
Scar’s an artist and not only owns multiple art books that he consults for ideas, not only draws all his builds beforehand, but is a really skilled oil painter.
Bdubs is also an artist and is stellar.
Scar’s “default” build is a tree.
Scar’s IGN is GoodTIMEWithScar instead of GoodTIMESWithScar because of the 9-character limit in Minecraft gamertags. He says this is because his channel is multiple games = multiple good times but Minecraft is one game so it’s only one good time. His cam account - despite being only 8 characters where he could’ve had the s is “BadTimeWithScar” and was called “RocketRodRyan” until 2017 (Ryan being Scar’s real name).
Similarly, Grian’s cam account, TwoMuchGrian, was originally “The_Grifter”. This can be seen in earlier seasons.
Scar’s Mayoral skin was the mayor from the Power Puff Girls. Scar does not know what the power puff girls is.
Grian has anxiety & panic attacks and mentions it sometimes on his instagram.

Grian once handwrote, signed, stamped, and wax-sealed a letter to deliver to Iskall’s real life house to invite him to join the Architechs.
There’s a fan term called The Grian Effect where hermits get spikes in their subcounts after collaborating with Grian.
There’s a several year old clip out there of Grian calling Jimmy a gorgeous and handsome man. Legend says he never complimented Jimmy ever again
In Last Life, Scar would be an evil little swindling scallywag and then edit those scenes out of his own videos. You’d only know the screwed up things he was doing if you watched other peoples’ videos. This is my favorite fact.
As mentioned, Xisuma started YouTube because he was inspired by Etho. He also looked up to Doc.
Season 8 was canonically a simulation.

Bdubs dyed his hair blue once.
“BdoubleO” is a play on his last name (Booko). He worked as a contractor at Booko Brothers Inc. before doing YouTube full time.
Mumbo is allergic to oranges
Mumbo’s real name is Oliver “Oli” BROTHERHOOD. What a last name. In my mind the real reason he didn’t come back in time for the crossover is because having two Olis would be too confusing. He had a build called the Olicopter once as well. Similarly, Grian’s last name is Batchelor. This is ironic, because Grian is married.
Mumbo and Doc are tied for tallest hermits, both 6′5. Grian is tied for shortest with Cleo, both 5′6. Also, allegedly Scar is 6′0 standing??
James Charles is a fan of Mumbo. Pewdiepie once plugged Mumbo for Mayor and it got spammed hard and became like a genuine problem for a bit.
iirc Scar lives in fucking WASHINGTON
At the same time that Scar had to take a short hiatus because of his health, Jellie became sick and almost died. They recovered at the same time, because they are the real soulmates
All weird hats and items (like Scar’s ears, hardhat, and top hat, or Zedaph’s trophies) in Hermitcraft are actually carved pumpkins.
Scar HATES snakes.
He has two older brothers and we see at least one in an IRL Minecon video.
Famous Birthdays thinks Scar is 40. Nobody knows his real age, but he laughed at this.
Grian’s original name was “Gria”. It was taken on Minecraft, so he added an N. Apparently he still uses Gria when Grian is taken (according to Carrot).
Also, Grian never actually used the name Xelqua. Nobody’s ever called him Xelqua. It was a placeholder name when he made his YouTube account.
Grian’s name on YouTube got changed to “Sun” for like a day and then changed back. Nobody knows why. Grian does mean sun in some languages, to be fair.
Grian’s cat Maui was a contestant in the Minecraft Cat Poll that Jellie won.
Grian’s favorite color is brown (source: Carrot. Carrot did say that he added on that he doesn’t like picking a favorite because someone will get peeved)
Scar’s is orange, Xisuma’s is “blorange” (blue and orange). Zedaph’s is red, Etho’s is green. Impulse’s is purple. Doc’s is green. Beef’s is blue.
People originally started drawing Zedaph more prominently with sheep features because people kept confusing blonde haired Zed with blonde haired Grian when G first joined.
Tango likes to play hockey and taught his wife how to play as well.
Tango and his wife have been married for 18 years. They met on an online dating website made in 2000 called Eharmony.
Joe had a DND series on YouTube, as well as one about writing Hermitcraft fanfiction. The TSD in his YouTube handle is a reference to an old DND group he was in, Team Snow Day.
Xisuma made VanillaTweaks (which is the modpack the server uses, including features like Silenced nametags, miniblocks, player and mob heads, singleplayer sleep, etc). It’s actually avaliable to the public and you can customize it with features both included in and not included in HC.
Cleo used to write Final Fantasy fanfiction.
Scar’s first ~500 videos were recorded on a Macbook.
Joe’s favorite book is Hitchhiker’s Guide. Also, he owns two pillows with his face on them.
Etho and Cub have the same birthday. So do Grian and Fwhip.

Doc killed Dinnerbone in UHC and then Dinnerbone took his arm to nerf him and there was a bug fix mentioned in a snapshot that said “Remove ‘docm77’ mob as it is not working as intended”. This is the origin of Doc’s cyborg arm.
Pungence (a former hermit and Bdubs’ brother) originally went by “AssyrianAssassin”. His Minecraft skin matches Bdubs’ original.
Speaking of, Bdubs’ face was not always :D. It used to be :|, then Etho wished for him to get bigger eyes and a bigger smile. The world has never been the same.

The Minecraft part of the Stanley Parable was inspired by Hermitcraft.
Tango technically joined Hermitcraft in Season 2.. because Mumbo couldn’t figure out his iron farm design and asked for him to be whitelisted just to help him. He was blacklisted right after.
Etho used to work in a family owned greenhouse business.
Season 1 had to be reset two separate times.
At some point (as in, YEARS AGO) Grian said his favorite pokemon was Dewgong.
Before HC, Scar, Cub, Wels, Ren, Iskall, Python, and Stress were on a server called Kingdomcraft.

no one on hermitcraft is human (and they all know this)- except for mumbo. He also has no idea anyone else is not human. For the funnies, no one believes him when he says he's human, and keep trying to figure out (in their own ways) what he is.
Impulse keeps trying to subtlety tell mumbo he has nothing to hide and can tell the hermits anything (this confuses mumbo quite a bit)
Grian says he believes mumbo, but really his diamonds are on either vampire or some sort of shadow monster in the betting pool
Doc and etho are running a betting pool
Zed has bdubs skizz and tango and himself working to keep a constant monitor on mumbo just in case he does something suspicious , this includes using cameras, spyglasses, various small holes to peek through and watch him, grian, ect.
Xisuma knows mumbo is human, obviously, but is participating in the betting pool anyway solely because he knows the hermits know that he knows, and him participating will encourage the rumors (not that he would encourage that type of thing, no, never)
Gem keeps asking mumbo random questions to try and get him to reveal something, which of course he doesn't, but she is convinced his answers must mean something, and keeps coming up with increasingly random theories about what he could be
The only person gem has managed to successfully convince of these theories is pearl, who has taken to dropping in on mumbo at random times to try to "catch him in the act"- the act of what even pearl herself doesn't know
Cub is having a field day making horns out of confused mumbo noises and various other "I'm just a human!"'s
Scar is the accomplice- the accomplice to what, nobody knows, but he was definitely the accomplice to something, possibly everything
And finally- mumbo is just as oblivious as ever, he has no idea most of this is going on (except for things asked to him directly) and thinks there must be something in the water making everyone a bit crazy, possibly the chemicals he's been pouring into it, that he has somehow been exempt from.
As an extra, autocorrect has tried to correct watch to watchers multiple times (I'm rather proud of it) doesn't know how to spell as accomplice (to be fair, I didn't either, had to look it up on Google) and seems to think xisuma should be insulation, despite auto filling xisuma- very interesting choice auto correct.
